Convert files straight from your cloud storage
Pick a file in Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive and convert it here — without downloading it to your device first and uploading it again. You connect the account once, we fetch the single file you choose, convert it, and give you the result.
- Works with Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive
- No download-then-reupload round trip
- Free tier accepts files up to 50 MB
- We only ever read the one file you pick

Supports all major formats
Supported cloud services
Google Drive
Browse your Drive, pick a file, and convert it. Docs, Sheets and Slides are exported in a standard format before conversion.
Dropbox
Choose any file from your Dropbox. Shared-folder files work the same way as your own.
OneDrive
Connect a personal or work Microsoft account and convert files from OneDrive directly.
How to convert a file from cloud storage
- 01
Choose Cloud as the source
On the converter, select Cloud instead of File or URL. A window opens listing the three supported services.
- 02
Connect the account once
Sign in with the provider. Authorisation happens on their site — your password is never entered here and never reaches us.
- 03
Pick the file to convert
Browse your files and select one. We fetch that single file to our server; nothing else in your account is read.
- 04
Choose a format and convert
Select the output format and start the conversion. Download the result when it finishes, or send it back to your cloud storage.
What happens to your file
Authorisation uses OAuth, the standard sign-in flow run by Google, Dropbox and Microsoft. You never type your cloud password here, and we never receive it.
We read only the single file you select. The connection does not give us the ability to browse, modify or delete anything else, and we do not index your account.
The file is transferred over TLS and converted on our server. Converting a file requires reading it, so we do not claim the content is encrypted from us — we claim it is not kept and not used for anything else.
Converted files are deleted automatically within 24 hours on the Free plan and within 7 days on paid plans. You can delete a result immediately from the result page.
What people use this for
Phone photos in Drive
HEIC images from an iPhone that back up to Google Drive, converted to JPG or PNG without pulling them onto a laptop first.
Documents shared with you
A DOCX someone dropped in a shared folder, converted to PDF for sending on — without saving a private copy to your device.
Working from a locked-down machine
On a work computer where downloads are restricted, the file never has to touch local storage.
Large files on a slow connection
The transfer happens between our server and your cloud provider, so a slow home connection does not have to carry the file twice.
Frequently asked questions
Do you get access to all my files?
No. You choose one file and we fetch that file. The authorisation is used to read the item you picked; we do not enumerate, copy or index the rest of your account.
Do you store my Google, Dropbox or Microsoft password?
No. Sign-in happens on the provider's own site through OAuth. Your password is never entered on this site and is never sent to us.
How large a file can I import?
The Free plan accepts files up to 50 MB. Starter allows 200 MB, Pro allows 1 GB, and Business has no practical limit. The limit is the same whether the file comes from your device or your cloud storage.
How long do you keep the file?
Converted files are deleted automatically within 24 hours on the Free plan and within 7 days on paid plans. You can also delete a result immediately once you have downloaded it.
Can I send the converted file back to my cloud storage?
Yes. After a conversion finishes you can export the result to Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive instead of downloading it.
Do I need an account to use cloud import?
You need to sign in to your cloud provider so we can read the file you pick. A 1converter account is not required to convert, but it is needed if you want conversion history.
