DDS file (DDS) stores data in the DDS format. AV1 Image File Format (AVIF) applies AV1 intra-frame compression delivering 50% smaller files than JPEG at equivalent quality, with wide colour gamut support. This renders each page as a raster image, making the content viewable without a document reader. Each page is rendered at the specified DPI and saved as a separate image; text in the output is no longer selectable.
