How JPEG to MXF Conversion Works
JPEG is an image format: it uses lossy DCT compression that permanently discards fine pixel detail to achieve small file sizes, ideal for photographs. MXF is a document format that stores data in the MXF format. This embeds the raster image inside a document container, fixing its dimensions on the page.
